BAY – (November
9, 2015) – Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Shelton Quarles welcomed almost 200 guests
to Dimmitt Automotive Group on Friday, November 6, 2015 for his Celebrity Waiter Night, raising $98,000
to benefit his IMPACT Foundation.
The foundation aims to provide opportunities
and resources for at-risk single-parent families throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Proceeds from the evening will help fund community outreach programs, such as
Shelton Quarles’ Tackle the Need Fund in an effort to fulfill the mission of
the IMPACT Foundation.
For one evening only, several Tampa Bay
Buccaneers, including Michael Clayton, Lavonte David, Vincent Jackson, Doug
Martin, Gerald McCoy, Brandon Myers, Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Jameis
Winston, joined Quarles to trade in their uniforms and helmets for aprons and
trays to benefit Quarles’ cause.
In addition to celebrity service from Quarles
and the Bucs, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception sponsored by Gardner-Gibson
and four courses of world-class cuisine, accompanied by the finest of wine.
The evening also featured an exclusive preview
of the all-new 2017 Bentley Bentayga – an SUV combining the best in automotive
luxury and performance taking Bentley to new grounds.
Ronnie Lane of The Buccaneers Radio Network and
620 WDAE served as the evening’s emcee, while Frank Trunzo of Sentry Benefit
Auctioneers served as the evening’s auctioneer during exciting live and silent
